Dance Tsunami
Houston Dance Tsunami is committed to elevating the ministry of dance as a transformative and unifying art form. We embrace a vast array of dance styles and cultural influences, showcasing the rich diversity of dance while educating the public about opportunities to engage with this dynamic art. Our annual performances in Houston, Texas, and surrounding areas celebrate the historical, spiritual, and creative roots of dance in ministry.

Our group proudly marches in key parades throughout Texas, including the City of Houston Thanksgiving Parade, the City of Galveston Christmas Parade, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade, Black History Month celebrations, and Juneteenth commemorations. These events allow us to highlight our artistry and passion, sharing the gift of dance with diverse communities across the state.
Inspired by Creativity and Innovation
We incorporate artistic elements such as banners, flags, streamers, tambourines, and umbrellas into our performances, enhancing our visual storytelling and expression. Each movement and prop is thoughtfully integrated to create a deeper connection with our audiences.
Dance that Unites Us All
At the core of Houston Dance Tsunami is a spirit of non-competition and inclusivity. We foster a shared love for dance that transcends differences, bringing together diverse groups, cultures, and generations. Our performances are multi-cultural and multi-generational, celebrating various forms of expression through praise, worship, and dance.
We believe in instilling respect, character, and unity through every step, while introducing youth and adult audiences alike to new and exciting dance forms. All rehearsals are kept private to maintain focus and creativity.

Powered by an enthusiastic team of talented dance leaders, choreographers, and volunteers, Houston Dance Tsunami creates a platform where the universal language of dance can uplift, inspire, and unify.
